Margaret Melson Garner

GARNER, Margaret Melson, age 80 of Friendsville, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She retired from ALCOA after 33 years of service and was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Service Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Garner. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Fern Garner of Clearfield, UT and Ricky and Kathrine Garner of Marathon, FL; daughter, Benese Garner and Wayne King of Madisonville, TN; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Anis Titlow and Vida Roe both of Maryville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy and Ray Andrews of NC and Johnny and Don Johnson of MI. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The entombment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville 982-6812
