Margie Jean Alexander

Margie Jean Alexander, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She shared 66 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Charles Bliss Alexander Junior. Margie was a loving mother to Roger (Janet) Alexander, Larry (Tina) Alexander, and Lana (David) Samples. She was a proud grandmother of Roger's two children Adam Alexander and Ashley Alexander, and Larry's three children Joshua Alexander, Justin Alexander, and Brittany (Aaron) Mackey. Margie was the great-grandmother to Joshua's two children Lucas Alexander and Peyton Alexander, and Brittany's daughter Iris Mackey. Margie is survived by brother Eddie McCollum, sister-in-law Anna (Richard) Bright, and special niece Patricia Vineyard, along with additional nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Joe and Elsie McCollum, brother Ronald, and sister Ada.

Margie will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the deep love she showed to her family throughout her life. Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on May 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church in Greenback, TN. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on May 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville.
