Marion W. Gamble

GAMBLE, Marion W., age 82 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at St. Mary’s Residential Hospice. He served with the U. S. Army during World War II and was a retired teacher from Yonkers Public School System in Yonkers, NY. Survivors include his wife, Doris Sharp Gamble of Knoxville, TN; sister-in-law, Irene Gamble of Maryville; nieces and nephews, Roy and Mary Gamble, Robert and Debby Gamble, Sarah Norine and Bill Scarborough all of Maryville; sister-in-law, Zola Jones of Maryville; nieces and nephews, Denise Jones of Huntsville, AL, William and Marlon Jones of Belvidere, TN, Kent and Trish Jones of Bostic, NC; several great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Centennial Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
