Marshall Edward Ownby

Marshall Edward Ownby 89 of Townsend passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 at home. He worked at Levi Strauss for many years as a cutter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel E. Ownby; parents, Marshall and Velma Ownby; granddaughter, Jennifer Ownby; brothers, Gene and Dott Ownby; brother-in-law, Clark Myers. Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly (Danny) Ledbetter; son, Steve (Jennifer) Ownby; sister, Flo Myers; grandchildren, Brooke (James) Lamphier, Eric (Michelle) LeQuire, Jessica Ownby, Nicole Dailey, Crystal Swanson, Kaylee, Emmerson. Precious Angels his great grandchildren, Adalynn Rachel Lamphier, Ashlynn Elizabeth Lamphier, Kara Lynn Ledbetter (his baby); as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and love ones. Family and friends will meet for a graveside service 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at West Millers Cove Cemetery With Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
