Martha Crowder

Martha Crowder, age 85 of Maryville, passed away Monday, April 19, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Francis Crowder; sisters, Mona Chapman and Nell Thompson; nephew, Homer Chapman. Survivors include nieces, nephews and spouses, Chris and Farris Whitehead, Eugene and Linda Thompson, Henry and Judy Thompson, Mildred and Estel Downey; many great nieces and great nephews, friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Day officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Old Kagley’s Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Church.
