Martha Oldham Thomas

Martha Oldham Thomas, age 87 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church in Knoxville. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. Phillip C. Thomas; parents, Helen and Leslie Oldham of Knoxville; step son-in-law, Jim Guess of Atlanta. Survived by sister, Carolyn Schrader of Maryville; step-daughter Marian Guess of Atlanta; several step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; cousins, Bob and Barbara Bailes of Maryville. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville for a graveside service with Dr. Marvin Gass officiating.
