Mary Lois Clark

CLARK, Mary Lois, born on August 1, 1930, in Knoxville, TN to Lon C. and Allie (Kirby) McConnell, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL. She graduated from Maryville College, Maryville, TN and moved to the LaPorte, IN area in 1957. In 1976, Mary, with a group of friends, organized and chartered the River Bend Chapter of Sweet Adelines, International. She was very active in local and regional organization until ill health forced her resignation. On September 7, 1991, in South Bend, IN, she married Paul J. Cark. He died on September 4, 1995. In 1996, she retired from Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, IN. Mary moved to Spring Hill, FL in 2002 where she lived until she went to be with her Lord. Mary was a member of the Mariner U. M. Church in Spring Hill. Mary has requested that instead of flowers, memorials be made to California Road Missionary Church, 29765 C. R. 12, Elkhart, IN 46514.
