Mary Louise Bailey Price

Mary L. Bailey Price went to be with our Lord on December 3, 2012. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and Mary Blount Chapter 133 Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by husband of 60 years, Joe E. Price of Maryville; daughter, Susan Daffron, Friendsville; sons Joe E. (Song) Price, Jr., Renton, WA; Philip and Thomas of Maryville; grandaughters Amy Moinet, Washington, DC, Lisa Price, Renton, WA; grandson Jason (Kayla) Daffron, Maryville; and great-grandson, T. J. Polack, Washington, DC; sister Nina (Roy) Miller, Crossville; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Price was born in Knoxville, TN, the eighth of nine children born to Walter and Mary Bailey. She graduated from Knoxville High School. She was a devoted wife and mother. She worked in the dietary department at various area nursing homes in Maryville and also J. C. Penney. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Broadway United Methodist Church with Rev. Laura Rasor officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, on John Sevier Hwy., for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church.
