Mattie Ruth Tippins

December 14, 2002 Tippins, Mattie Ruth, age 80 of Alcoa, passed away Saturday December 14, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Tippins and by and infant son. Survivors include: Daughters and sons-in-law; Paula K. and Roger Walden of Orange Park, FL; Judy and Jerry Talley of Maryville; and Susan and Dan Erwin of Alcoa. Grandchildren; Sarah Beth and Randy Sides; Amy and Phil Lofton; Paul Talley; Josh and Carrie Talley; Micheal and Christy Erwin; Jacob and Elizabeth Erwin; and Andrea Erwin. Seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet Monday at 11 A.M. at Clarks Grove Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Sunday at the home of Dan and Susan Erwin: 1095 Beverly Dr., Alcoa. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity.
