Melvin W. Young, Jr., age 72, of Greenback passed away January 27, 2022, at his home. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin W. Young, Sr. and Loraine Anderson Young.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Young; daughters, Robyn (William) Budai, Jaclyn Bauer; grandchildren, Kyle Bauer, Kaylee Bauer; brother-in-law, Charles Spink.
Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 4, 2022, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Knoxville for a graveside service.
