Minnie F. "Mimi" Bryant

Minnie F. “Mimi” Bryant, age 81, passed away on April 24, 2024, opening her brand-new eyes to see Jesus.  She was a member of Friendsville First Baptist Church.  She loved listening to gospel music, making arts and crafts, and watching classic movies, the Atlanta Braves, and the UT Vols.  Gifted with beautiful penmanship, she ministered to both her family and church family through greeting cards, even after her eyesight failed her.  She was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Ruth Smiddy; siblings (Mickey, Betty, Gwen, Lester, Teddy, Dicky, and Jerry); and husband, Woody Bryant.  Survivors include children: Tony (Lori) Servies, Tina (Dale) Maddox, and Jim (Robbin) Servies; grandchildren Emma (Nick) Poole, Sarah Beth (Matt) Crabtree, Eli Servies, Savannah Grace Servies; great-granddaughter Eliza Jane Poole, whom she affectionately nicknamed “kumquat”; many nieces and nephews; very special friend Tonya Myers and family (Don, Nick, Sydney, and Maddie); and the “girls” of her Sunday School class. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, May 5^th, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.  The family will have a private graveside at Grandview Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at ETMG, BMH, Morningview TCC, and home health for the care they have provided over the last several years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Gideons or the Friendsville First Baptist Church Building Fund.
