Nell C. Thompson

THOMPSON, Nell Crowder, age 87 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a life long member of Kagley’s Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Thompson; parents, Sam and Francis Crowder; sister, Mona Chapman; grandson, Eddie Thompson. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Farris Whitehead; sons and daughters-in- law, Eugene “Ed” and Linda Thompson, Henry and Judy Thompson; grandchildren, Mark Whitehead, Pamela Lequire, Wayne Thompson, Lisa Bryant, Janice Bass; great grandchildren, Kevin Whitehead, Matthew Whitehead, Michael Thompson, Maleah Thompson, Tyler Bryant, Sara Lequire, and Dale Bass; sister, Martha Crowder; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clarence Byrd and Rev. Ron Day officiating. The interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Kagley’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
