Nola Harveston Malone Shope

SHOPE, Nola Harveston Malone, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Rockford Baptist Church and retired from Rockford Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Shope was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Malone; parents, Henry and Nora Harveston; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include her husband, George Shope; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Wanda Malone of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Fred Atchley of Rockford, Bobbie and Bill Evans of Maryville; step son and step daughter-in-law, Stanley and Joan Shope of Florence, KY; step daughters and step sons-in-law, Jeaneatte and Jack Perm of Hebron, KY, Harriet and L. A. Headrick of Townsend; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Henrietta Waggoner of Knoxville, Billie Trotter of Huntsville, AL, Shirley Clayton of Portsmouth, VA; several nieces and nephews; care givers, Diane Pace and Jean Lunsford. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Rev. Russ Maples and Rev. Wendell Trotter officiating.
