Norma Jean Williamson

Norma “Jean” Williamson, age 86, passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior May 7, 2025 at Morningview Transitional Care Center. She was a faithful servant of her Heavenly Father and was always wanting to help others in any way possible. She was a lifetime member of Clarks Grove Church and loved decorating for special events and helping serve others. She also volunteered for years helping with the Firemettes by purchasing items for those who lost their homes to a fire. Jean loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She would light up any time she saw her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren.

May 24th she would have shared her 67th wedding anniversary with her high school sweetheart, David.

She is now reunited in Heaven as we rejoice in the promise of eternal life with her parents Elijah H. and Blanche Fraze and her two brothers Merriman “Rocky” and David Fraze, sisters-in-law Nylice Harrill and Carol Williamson.

She is survived by her husband, David, children Sandy (Donnie) Scott and Gary (Jennifer) Williamson, grandchildren Kari (Jason) Patty, Kelli (Will) Bivens, Jordan, Caleb (fiancé Lily), Jenna & Jayden Williamson; and great-grandchildren Eli, Will, Hannah, and Joshua Patty and Brooklyn Bivens; in-laws Jimmy Williamson, Roy Harrill, Sylvia and Arvil Garland; nieces, nephews, special family friend Laverne Harrill and many other long-time friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice Program and Morningview Transitional Care Center for all the love and care they provided.

The family will receive friends at a celebration of life at Smith Event Center, 1404 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville from 2-4 on Saturday, June 7th with a service at 4:00.
