Russell, Orpha “Crickett” Shirley age 95 of Maryville, passed away Friday January 31st, 2003 at Asbury Acres Health Care Center. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by husband, Gilbert Benjamin Russell. Parents, Samuel Lee and Mary Jane Downey Shirley. 5 brothers and 2 sisters Survivors include: Son, James Lee Russell. Sister, Ruth Walker of Maryville. Granddaughters, Patricia Steel, Susan and Ray Smith. Grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Richard and Lisa Russell. Great grandsons, Adam Cogburn, Ryan Cogburn, and Aaron Smith. Great granddaughter, Maria Russell. Several nieces and nephews. Niece-in-law, Faye Russell Haggerty. Family and fiends will meet 11:00 AM Monday, February 3rd, 2003 At Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Greenback, with Rev, Eldon Moore officiating for graveside service and interment.
