Oscar Prater "Buddy" 7/7/35-12/23/19

It's hard to describe a man like Buddy. To have lived such an adventurous life is a blessing. He had a way of making us all feel special. A way of creating memories wherever he went. He loved and was beloved by his family and great friends whom he held dear. However He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great granddaughter. I used to tell him "he could be a little rough around the edges" but truthfully I have never known a more hard-working, loving,loyal and humorous man. He had a love for classic Fords .his light hearted, loving and honest attitude will be greatly missed but never, ever forgotten. I'm so grateful to have been a part of his life. I'm So proud to have had him as a father in law, so honored to have called him Dad.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM, Friday, December 27, 2019 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 2:00 PM Saturday a graveside service at Holston College Cemetery.
