Oscar Earl Miller, CMS

Oscar Earl Miller, CMS (USAF Ret.), passed away Sunday April 12, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Living on Pearson Springs Rd. He was a devout Catholic, and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Born August 23, 1940, in Maryville, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Earl Miller and Ilene Miller, and his devoted wife of 57 years, Wanda Lee Miller. 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jacquie Miller, grandson Jared Miller and wife, Merrell and their son Heath, grandson Bryce Miller and wife, Abby, and who are expecting their son, Everett. 

Oscar proudly served with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force for 30 years and was a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. An avid sports fan, he especially loved the Maryville Red Rebels. The family extends sincere thanks to his doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Prisma, as well as the nurses, aids, and staff at Brookdale Assisted Living, for all their kindness, and devoted care. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Operation Homefront. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday April 18, at Our Lady Of Fatima Catholic Church, 858 Louisville Road, Alcoa, TN 37701. The family will receive friends beginning at 9am in the church narthex.
