Patrick Dale Knight, Sr. age 80.

Born November 10,1945-Died May 4,2026, after losing his battle to Alzheimer’s.

Pat was preceded in death by his grandmother, “Cordy” McClure, who lovingly took him in and raised him as her own. Also preceded by his 8-year-old son, Jerry Glen Knight, and longed for the day to see him again. He was also preceded by his aunt, Opal McClure, who stepped in to continue raising him and also his brotherly cousin, Jerry McKinney.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lisa Jedlicka Knight, as well as his children: Pat, Keith, Nicholas, JJ (Matthew) O’Shields, Ollie (Priya) & Hanna Hardwick.

Grand & Great-Grandchildren: Meagan, Jerry (Amanda), Orion, Miranda, Chelsea, Ricky, Jameson, Adalynn, & Raylan; Hunter, Ember & Rayane.

Mother-in-law Lela Jedlicka, other in-laws and many nieces and nephews and many friends.

Pat retired from Alcoa Inc. in 2005 (37 years). He loved staying busy, spent many years with scouting, helping others do all that he could, and dearly loved living in the mountains, especially loved sitting outside with the sun in his face. He was a member of Little River Christian Fellowship Church in Townsend and loved his church and Emmaus families.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM, Monday, June 1, 2026, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 6:00 PM.

The family would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the UT HOSPICE, staff, especially Julia, for the compassion, care, and comfort shown during Pat‘s final days.
