Patsy Payne Carroll

Patsy Payne Carroll passed away Sunday, June 21,2026. She was born on March 29, 1939, in Alcoa, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Alcoa High School. She worked in the Maryville City School System until her retirement. She was most recently a resident of Brookdale Sandy Springs, where she received the best of care.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert (Bob) Carroll, Jr.; parents, Herbert and Hope Payne; sister, Betty Ann Byers; brother, Robert Payne; in-laws, Robert and Wilma Carroll.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jamie Hipps; adored granddaughter, Kaylee Hipps; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Clara Carroll; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Roselyn and Mose Waters; as well as several nephews.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her as she will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will meet at 12:00 PM, Friday, June 26, 2026, at Grandview Pavilion for a service with Rev. Greg Long officiating.
