Pauline M. Morgan, Louisville, 92, died May 11, 2024.  She was born in Mill Grove, in Columbia County, PA, on March 14, 1932, to Emily and James Beaver.  She began school in a one room schoolhouse with six grades.  She alertly absorbed the second year while in first grade, and was promoted to third grade. After fourth grade, the family moved to Tamaqua, PA, where she finished her schooling and met and married Earl H. Morgan. Earl’s employment with ALCOA brought them to Maryville, where they became faithful members of New Providence Presbyterian Church. Polly devoted many years volunteering with the NPPC Community Benefit Sale, and at The Gateway to Independence. She was preceded in death by sister Dorthy Callahan (David), Philadelphia, PA, and daughter-in-law Nancy Morgan, Louisville, TN. She is survived by husband of 73 years, Earl Morgan, sons Thomas (Jan Taylor), Maryville; Daniel, Morristown; and Charles, Louisville; grandchildren Charity (Jeremy) Wolcott, Mexico, Emily Morgan, Maryville, David (Chris Spoon) Morgan, Cincinnati, and Samuel Morgan, Nashville; great-granddaughters Emilina and Maelin Wolcott, Mexico; and special brother Richard (Joanne) Arculin, Doylestown, PA. There will be a private graveside service, but friends may pay their respects at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home until noon on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gateway to Independence, P. O. Box 6023, Maryville, TN 37802.
