Philip Ray Hitson

Philip Ray Hitson, age 80 of Maryville, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, retired from Martin Marietta, a 50 year member of New Providence Lodge #128 F&AM, and 2001 past master at Mt. View Lodge #519 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Miller; mother, Juanita Hitson; father, Wm. Bill Hitson; brothers, Raymond and David Hitson. Survivors include his wife, Norma Hitson; daughters, Vicki McMahan, Connie (Richard) Fritts, Wendy (Bill) Hall; grandchildren, Eric and Michael Fritts, Philip Hank Miller, Brooke McMahan, Jennifer and Christa Johnson; great grandchild, Madison Fritts; step-mother, Margaret Hitson; brother, William, Jr. (Sylvia) Hitson; sister, Eloise (Robert) Landers; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Russell officiating. Interment services will be held at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church.
