Ralph Eugene ''Shorty'' Gibson

GIBSON, Ralph “Shorty”, age 81 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at his home. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville and a lifetime bass sports fisherman. He never met a stranger. Those that met him loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Clemmie Gibson. Survivors include his wife, Ivy Gibson; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Judy Gibson, Robert and Sandra Gibson and Richard and Dianne Gibson all of Knoxville; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Gibson of Maryville. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Lenoir officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
