Ralph Wayne Rorex Sr

Ralph Wayne Rorex, Sr., age 86 of Maryville, passed away October 5, 2019 at his home. He was President of the Maryville-Alcoa Bowling Association for more than 25 years and was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War from 1950-1952. He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. “Pete” and Sally Sparkman Rorex; brothers, Roy Glenn Rorex, Charles B. Smith, James B. “Babe” Rorex; sister, Mary Katherine Essary; twin sister, Rachel Blevins.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Anna R. Rorex; daughter and son-in-law, Avis and Jeff Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Wayne Rorex, Jr. and Mary; grandchild, Landon D. Rorex; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sue Smith; sisters, Winifred Hoback and Rita Campbell; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 PM at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Jim Beasley officiating.
