Raymond "Bud" Hitch

Raymond “Bud” Hitch, 97, of Friendsville, Tennessee passed away March 26, 2025. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum, and was a longtime member of Friendsville First Baptist Church. Throughout his life, he enjoyed farming, flying, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Virginia “Jerry” Hitch. Daughters: Sharon McFall and Mickie (Tom) McCall; Sister: Wilma Haun; Grandchildren: Angie (Robert) Baumgardner, Gina (Scott) Jenkins, Thomas (Stephanie) McCall, Diane (Nevada) Schrader, Lora (Johnathan) Harding, and Robert McCall. Great Grandchildren: Rachael, Cody, Becca, and Matthew Baumgardner; Colton and Addison Jenkins; Madeline, Gavin, Greyson, Grantlee, Gideon, and Gwendolynn McCall; Shelby and Levi Schrader; and Rylee and Reese Harding.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00pm Sunday, March 30th, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in Maryville, Tennessee with the funeral immediately following. The family will have a graveside interment at Grandview Cemetery on Monday, March 31st at 11:00am.
