Rev. David Franklin Morton

Rev. David Franklin Morton, age 77 of Friendsville, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Concordia-Fairpark. He was raised in the Quaker Church and was a minister at New Hope Full Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elsie Peters Morton; son, David Christopher Morton. Survivors include his loving dedicated wife, Kay Morton; son, Greg Morton and wife Lucky; granddaughter, Sydnie Morton. The family expresses special thanks to the staff of Concordia-Fairpark and Caris Hospice. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Julian officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Friendsville Friends Cemetery for the interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International, Blount County South Camp, P.
