Richard Bruce Morrison

Morrison, Richard Bruce, age 85, of Seymour passed away peacefully on Saturday April 27th 2024. Bruce was a beloved figure in his community, known for his love and dedication to his farm. After retiring from his sales position his time was spent taking care of his horses and puttering with his car collection. His commitments extended beyond his professional endeavors, as he devoted 30 years to the Boy Scouts of America, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless young individuals. Sharing his farm for scout camping and special events.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Mavis Morrison, his first love Patricia Morrison, brother and sister-in-law Clarke and Phyllis Morrison. He is survived by his children, David Morrison, Alicia Leigh Morrison, grandson Jonathon Morrison, niece and nephew, Wendy Morrison, husband Gary and Michael Morrison.

Bruce inherited a strong work ethic and a compassionate spirit which he shared with those who shared his life. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 11th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boy Scouts of America in his honor.
