Rita Maureen Rambin Spicer

Rita Maureen Rambin Spicer, age 64, of Luling, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024. She was born on June 23, 1960, to the late Marshall and Katherine Rambin.

Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who made a lasting impact on everyone she knew. She was known for her quick wit, her love of reading, flowers, the Great Smoky Mountains, and was a lifelong Saints fan. Her deep, unconditional love for her family will always be cherished and remembered.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Edwin “Phil” Spicer, and their beloved children: Joey Reagan (Heather), Angie Blevins (Shaggy), and Eric Spicer. She was a proud grandmother to Tucker Cooper (Molly), Kailey Blevins, John Vance, and Micah Vance, who brought immense joy to her life.

Rita is also survived by her siblings: Mike Breazeale, Paul Rambin, James “Bernie” Rambin (Vera), Becky Rambin, and Elaine Rambin Hiltibidal (Jerry), and her sister-in-law, Robin Southern (Larry).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Katherine Rambin; her father-in-law, Edwin “Ed” Spicer; her mother-in-law, Terri Spicer; and her brothers, Pete Rambin (Patti), and Phil Rambin (Karen).

The funeral will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 5 p.m. at High Praises Church.

 May she rest in eternal peace in the arms of Jesus, forever in our hearts.
