Robert (Bob) Drake passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022. Bob Drake was born September 11, 1941, in Louisville, TN to Earl and Ethel Drake. Bob grew up in Louisville and Friendsville. He graduated from Friendsville High School where he dated and married his high school sweetheart Janet Phillips. He started his lifelong profession in the automotive business. His first job was driving a wrecker for Charles West Chevrolet. He grew in the business holding various jobs and eventually became General Manager. He opened his first heavy truck and farm tire store, TN Valley Tire. He sold the business and opened M.C.M. Tire Town along with several gas and service stations. He fulfilled his dream of a family business, opening Fairview Fast Lube working alongside his wife, son, daughter, daughter in law and grandchildren up until his retirement. After his retirement he and his wife toured the country with their motorhome camping group. Bob was a 50-year Mason. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ethel Drake, wife Janet Phillips Drake, brother Larry Drake.

Bob is survived by his son Jeff (Karen) Drake and daughter Mitzi (Ron) Green, grandchildren Justin (Chelsie) Drake, Ryan (Amanda) Green, Jessica (Anthony) Schaeffer, and Alex Green. Greatgrandchildren Elle and Ross Green and Gradie-Ruth Drake. Sisters, Chris (Bud) Cox, Sandy (Tom) Garlington, Faye (John) Blackburn. Sister-in law Pat Drake. Along with several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Tennessee.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
