Robert C. Word

Robert C. Word, age 42 passed away Friday afternoon, May 31, 2019, at the family home. Survivors include his parents, Sharon and Lester Word; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Meggan Word; loving aunts and uncles, Debbie and Jay Gregory, Sheila and Ronnie Hall, Patricia Ryan, Jim and Connie Allen, Terry and Theresa Allen, Janice Cole and Bill Word; special cousin, Tiffany Tallent and several other cousins plus countless friends. Robert was a graduate of Maryville High School, a member of the Drama Club and Blount County Junior Playhouse. He was an employee of Chilis for 10 years and received a Readers Choice Award for excellent service. He will be sadly missed by all those whom he came in contact with. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 PM Monday, June 3, 2019, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7:00 PM. The interment will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in Grandview Cemetery.
