Robert Carl Shamblin

Robert Carl Shamblin, age 81, of Maryville passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023. He was born November 24, 1942, in Maryville, the son of William and Margaret Birchfiel Shamblin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Meredith and Allan Jordan; brother and sister-in-law, Crowder and Geri Shamblin; sister, Edna Margaret King; and sister-in-law, Judy Shamblin. 

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Leslie Shamblin; twin granddaughters, Abby and Rachel Shamblin; brother, Vernon Shamblin; and several nieces and nephews. He graduated from Everett High School — Class of 1960. He retired from a long career in banking and finance. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. 

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 3508 Wildwood Road, Maryville, Tennessee 37804.
