Robert G. Payne

PAYNE, Robert Gene, of Maryville, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a Baptist and was preceded in death by his father, Herbert L. Payne. Survivors include his mother, Hope C. Payne of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Jon Puryear of Texas, Danielle and Scott Mills and Dawn and Tim Claiborne all of Oneida, TN; 3 granddaughters; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Cecil Byers of Knoxville and Pat and Bob Carroll of Maryville. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Carpenters Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Jon Puryear officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery or friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
