Robert L. Watkins

Robert L. Watkins, age 74, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, at his home. He was a faithful member of Ballards Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents, Virgil and Lois Watkins; sister, Geraldine ONeal; brothers, Carl and Roy Watkins. Survivors include: son, Timothy Watkins of Rockford; daughters, Loretta (Richard) Teffeteller of Maryville and Marilyn Murr also of Rockford; grandchildren, Tracy Watkins, Tiffany Evans, T. J. and Taylor White and Misty Satterfield; great grandchildren, Aiden Evans, Lige White, Emily and Hunter Atkins, Ellie Satterfield; sister, Sue McDonald of Etowah; brother, Fred Watkins of Maryville. The family would like to thank U. T. Hospice and a special thank you to Angel. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Beaver Branham and Rev. Ronnie Inman officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the interment service.
