Robert Lee Falin

FALIN, Robert Lee, age 85 of Alcoa, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at his home. He was a Medic in World War II, was a Purple Heart Recipient, was a 50 year member of the Masons and a 50 year member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Matlock Falin; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Brenda Falin of Bristol, TN, Gary and Marilyn Falin of Alcoa; grandson and wife, Scott and Amy Falin of Kingsport, TN; great grandsons, Soloman and Connor Falin of Kingsport and Zack Elliott and Jole Payne; brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Doris Falin of Gate City, VA; sister-in-law, Anna Ruth Falin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Sunderland officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Holston View Cemetery in Webber City, VA for the interment service with Rev. Eckel Herron officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jill B.
