Robert Steven Brookshire

Robert Steven Brookshire, age 64 of Maryville, passed away April 12, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He retired from Alcoa in 2014 after 33 years. Preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd and Merle Patterson, Floyd and Myrtle Brookshire; brother, Mike Brookshire; son, Chris Brookshire. Survivors include wife, Melinda Brookshire; son, Travis Brookshire and wife Angie; daughter, Traci Lewis; grandchildren who he dearly loved, Dakota, Destiny, Saleena, Chris Brookshire and Hunter Lewis; parents, Don and Imogene Brookshire; sister, Rebecca Brookshire all of Greenback; aunt, Shirley Fuller of NC; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Friday, April 15, to proceed to Carpenters Campground Methodist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service with brother-in-law, Lowell Thornton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
