Robert W. Dunn

DUNN, Robert W., age 86 of Maryville, passed away Monday, December 20, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was born March 22, 1918 in Etowah. He was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and the Wesley Mitchell Sunday School Class. He retired from the Aluminum Company of America after 41 years of service and was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Service Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas M. and Willie R. Dunn; brothers, Tom, William, Ben and Clay Dunn; sisters, Margaret Berry, Mae Thompson and Kate Smith. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Matthews Dunn; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Ronnie Tallent of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Fred Tulloch of Naperville, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Carol Dunn of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Evelyn Dunn of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Ann Peterson, Cleo Franklin, Jack Stewart and Stan Knight. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brenda Carroll and Pastor Larry Carroll officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
