Robert K. "Dynamite" Whitehead

Robert K. “Dynamite” Whitehead, age 72 of Maryville passed away on October 16, 2025, at his home. He was employed at Alcoa Aluminum Company for 37 years and was a Union 309 Rep. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mauda and Victor Whitehead; brothers, Vernon, Ivan, and Gene Whitehead; sisters-in-law, Judy and Elaine Whitehead.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Whitehead; brothers, Wendell (Brenda) Whitehead, David Whitehead; sister, Betty Jo and David Pesterfield; sisters-in-law, Rose Mary Whitehead, Karen Whitehead; children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special pet – Sparkle.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tater Wells and Rev. Allen Tyler officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Grandview Cemetery.
