Roberta ''Robbie'' Adams Irwin

IRWIN, Roberta “Robbie” Adams, age 70 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Pecks Memorial United Methodist Church and was retired from the Veterans Service Office. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward G. Adams; mother, Edith G. Wax Adams; brothers, Edward G. Adams, Jr., Terry C. Adams, David H. Adams, Gregory Q. Adams; sisters, Eva Ruth Warner and Dorothy Adams. Survivors include: husband, Clifford E. Irwin; daughter, Carol Ann Irwin; son and daughter-in- law, Clifford E. Irwin, II and Mary; daughter, Cathryn E. Irwin of Knoxville; daughter and son- in-law, Cynthia A. and Brian McCurdy of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Amelia Ann Irwin; brother, Robert G. “Sam” Adams of Sevierville; many other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John K. Thierbach officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. Mrs. Irwin was cremated and the family suggests memorials be made to Pecks Memorial United Methodist Church, 2438 Wilkinson Pike, Maryville, TN 37803 or to the American Lung Association of Tennessee, 212 S.
