Roma E. Farmer

Farmer, Roma E., age 89 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007, in Columbus, GA. She was a retired nurse from Blount Memorial Hospital with over 35 years of service. She was preceded in death by husband, R.V. Farmer; brother, Carl Gideon and sisters, Rowena Hord and Maude Orr. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and John Henry Blizzard, Jr. of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Lynn Duff, Lorrie Youmans, Paula Radford, John “Chip” Blizzard, III, Tara Lynn Simmons all of Columbus; great grandchildren, Brent Clark, Drew Duff, Lyndi Duff, Halle Brook Blizzard, Dalton John Blizzard all of Columbus; great great granddaughter, Madison Taylor Clark of Columbus; step-sons, Harold Farmer of Smyrna, Ga and Aldon Farmer of Georgia; 4 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Neal Blizzard officiating.
