Roma Lois (Hatcher) Payne

Roma Lois (Hatcher) Payne, 93, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Six Mile Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Denver G. Payne; grandchildren, Donnie Lee Payne, Jr., Roma Darlene Strickland; great-grandchild, Jeremiah Colton Payne; son-in-law, Dwight Yearout; father and mother, Floyd and Alice Hatcher; brothers, Kenneth, Howard, Bobby and Jack Hatcher; sisters, Marie Keller, Dorothy Blair and Sara Lou Dorsey.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-laws, Larry and Nadine Payne, Don and Susan Payne, Bill and Sherry Payne, Phil and Yvonne Payne; daughters and sons-in-laws, Debbie and Mike Pickel, Tina and Bob Strickland; brother and sister-in-law, Archie and Wanda Hatcher; cousin, Joyce Householder; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be Thursday, June 9th at 3:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bill White officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
