THURSTON, Rosemary E., age 85 of Maryville passed away Sunday, September 25, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and Diocesan Counsel of Catholic Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Thurston; sisters, Virginia and Margaret; brother, Joe. Survivors include: sons, Tim Thurston, MD, and wife Patricia, Dick Thurston and wife Carrie, Tom Thurston, PhD; Bill Thurston and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Major Tim Thurston and wife Hurley, Jason Thurston, Kent Thurston, John Thurston, Molly Thurston, and Michael Thurston; special friend, Agnes; many close friends in Maryville and Greeneville. Funeral Mass will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Alcoa with Father Alex Waraksa officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the Rosary Service to follow. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, September 28, 2005, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Greeneville, TN, with the Memorial Mass to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Father Jim Harvey officiating.
