Roy D. Morton

Roy D. Morton went to meet his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by father, Jim Morton; mother, Josie Morton; sons, Billy Morton, Freddy Gibson, Jr.; daughter, Jeannie Morton; brothers, Jack Morton, Lewis Morton, John Morton, Jimmy Morton, Donald Morton; sisters-in-law, Alma Morton, Helen Morton, Elizabeth Morton, Mabel Morton and Wanda Morton; brother-in-law, Herschel Teeple; sister, Gay Dean Garrett. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pat Morton; sons, Jack Morton, Roy Lee Morton, Danny (Janet) Morton; daughters, Anne Morton, Vickie Hallisburton; stepdaughters, Scarlet Jones and LeeAnn Holsomback; brothers, Hollis, Ronald, and Terry (Brenda) Morton; sisters, Pat (Gerry) Anders, Phyllis (John A) Fuller and Dorothy Teeple; sister-in-law, Kathy Morton; 18 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, special nieces and nephews. Roy loved all of his large Morton Family and his church family. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 20, from 5-7:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Donnie Morton and Rev. Jake Debuty officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the interment service.
