Ruby Henson Poe

Ruby Henson Poe - beloved mother and grandmother age 79 of Maryville passed away Friday, February 25, 2004 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest H. Poe; parents, Ralph and Anna Mae Henson; grandson, Scott Edward Tipton. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and John Gentry of Sweetwater, Bobbie and Stan Sampson of Loudon, Judy and Jake Tipton of Madisonville, Sandi and Jim Giles of Maryville; daughters, Margie Poe Bradford, Teresa Richards, and Cheryl Poe all of Maryville; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Henson of Woodstock, GA, and Cecil Henson of Mineral Bluff, GA; sisters, Eunice Roberson, Hazel Henson, and Betty June Hawkins all of Mineral Bluff, GA, Edith Hyde of Blue Ridge, GA. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Wayne Atchley officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:00 P.M. Monday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville 982-6812
