Ruby Quinton Patton

Ruby Quinton Patton, age 86 of Maryville, went to Heaven on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church. She loved hiking and working in flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was very dedicated to her family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank Patton; step-daughter, Brenda Jo Cooper; parents, John Clifford and Melinda Russell Quinton; brothers, J.C., Glenn, Ralph, Allie D. "Red" and Lawrence Quinton. Survivors include her children, Brenda (Lloyd) Lawhon, Gary (LJ) Cowden, Teresa (Chet) Hart, Denise (Ronnie) Irwin, Sharon (Mike) Holder; grandchildren, Kevin (Jenni) Olivet, Niki (Scott) Love, Chelsea (Allen) Tipton, Heather Ledbetter, Anthony Pratt; great grandchildren, Alexis Ferguson, Kyler Love, Hunter Olivet, Gracie Love, Adelyn Olivet, Fischer Tipton, Jett Patton Olivet; sisters, Jewell Buchanan of Georgia and Katie Ailey of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 pm Saturday, August 13, 2016, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Charles Bailey officiating. Family and friends will meet 2:00pm Sunday at Laurel bank Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
