Ruby Gordon Finger Keaton Sandifur

Ruby Gordon Finger Keaton Sandifur, 90, of Friendsville, born April 26, 1936, passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2026.

Ruby leaves behind a legacy of love and neighborliness. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel like family. Her laughter and sharp wit brought joy to all. She never met a stranger and talked to everyone. She worked as a waitress for many years in area restaurants and made countless friends along the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Farris "Doe" Sandifur; her son Dan Keaton and her daughter Darlene Stanley; her stepchildren Teresa Hurst, Annie Davis, Randy Sandifur, and Bobby Sandifur; her parents Mary and Gordon Finger; and her siblings Anna Mae Cardwell Baker, Bonnie Marine, and Richard Finger.

She is survived by her daughter Robin Keaton Harrill; her stepdaughters Donna Wilbanks, Tammy (Ricky) Burchell, and Sherry Sandifur; her grandchildren Rusty Keaton, T.D. Archer, Emily Harrill, Katie Harrill, Cody and Ashlie Burchell, Mackensi and Kane Collins, Ricky Burchell, Jr., Danny Covington, Dylan and Cheyenne Bryant, Cruz Hurst, Kristen Wilbanks, William Bernard, and Jessie Evans; a host of great-grandchildren; her sister Betty (Marvin) Ingalsbe; her daughter-in-law Kay Baker; many nieces and nephews; step-siblings and extended family; and those she met on life's journey who lovingly called her "Nanna Ruby."

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2026, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services at 2:00 PM. The interment will follow in Zion Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
