Ruth Barber Best

Ruth Barber Best - age 86 of Maryville died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, and worked at ALCOA during WWII. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Earl W. Best; grandson, Adam Best; parents, Arthur Washington and Bessie Evelyn Stewart Barber; brother, Warren Barber; sister, Bessie Sue Lambert. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Earl W. Jr. and Debbie Best; grandson of devoted grandmother, Richard Earl Best; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Russell officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
