Ruth Potter Long

LONG, Ruth Potter, age 86 of Maryville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008, at Asbury Place. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and was retired from Greenback Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Raymond Long; parents, George H. and Ora Lee Nuchols Potter. Survivors include her sisters, Dorothy Morris of Lubbock, TX, Carrie Harris of Maryville, Jackie Bowen of Endwell, NY; brother, Isaac Potter of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Allan Atchley officiating.
