Ruthell (Ruth) Phillips Bryant, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a life long member of the Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carmack Bryant; parents, Robert G., Sr. and Madge Stiles Phillips; and siblings, Bob Phillips, Virginia Hargis and Frances Phillips. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Bryant; sister, Katharine Bryant; special niece, Sybil Gamble; many nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Lower Chilhowee Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Jonathan Jones officiating.
