Samuel Woodrow Best

BEST, Samuel Woodrow, age 87 of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 3, 2005, in Murfreesboro. He was a member of Alcoa First Baptist Church and a WW II Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Berma Lovin Best. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Jack Morton of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughters, Molly Pope and Dr. Beth Christian and her husband John; great grandchildren, Alexander and Christopher Pope, Emilie Grace Christian; sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Bill Debord of Asheville, NC. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Knight officiating.
