Sophia Jane Garner

Sophia Jane Garner, age 56 of Friendsville, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Strickland and brothers, Jacky Hensley and Stanley Alan Hensley. Survivors include her husband, Ronald L. Garner; son, Robert W. Patty, Jr.; daughters, Tonya J. Thompson and Maggie Hall; grandsons, Robert W. Patty, III, Devon Thompson, Elijah Garner, Kaleb Marshall; stepson, Jeremy Underwood; mother and stepfather, Margaret and Jack Cunningham; sisters, Cynthia Caldwell, Yolanda Buchanan, Cecilia Strickland, Angelia Strickland; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Hatley and Rev. Harrison Hill officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:00 a.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
