Stanley Eugene Best

Stanley Eugene Best, 87, of Maryville, passed away on May 14, 2022. He was a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church, was retired from Blount Memorial Hospital and served in the United States Army. Member of the Mountain View #358 Order of the Eastern Star and the Mountain View Lodge #519 F&AM. He was preceded in death by wife, Donnie Marie Leatherwood Best. He is survived by son, Mike (Teresa) Best; grandchildren, Travis (Rachel) Best and Katelyn (Eric) White; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Noah and Hannah Best, and Liam White; also survived by sister-in-law, Jonelle Gilbert and brother-in-law, Bob Leatherwood; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Cummings officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Carpenters Cemetery for the interment.
